Lauren's journey in entrepreneurship began when she was only ten years old, selling snacks during lunchtime at her elementary school. This was abruptly put to a stop by the school because it was major competition for their vending machines. As Lauren transitioned to middle school, her love for all things beauty began. Lauren spent the entire summer watching beauty influencers on YouTube, from which she took beauty inspiration and tokens of women empowerment advice. Safe to say, by the time Lauren reached high school, she was lash obsessed and found her niche. Lauren has many memories of applying strip lashes from the age of 14 for an extra boost of confidence daily. Lashes always completed the look for her. From wispy and dramatic to natural looks, Lauren fell in love with the versatility. She began to share her passion for lashes with her first ever "clients" which were other members of the cheer team she was on. It started with strategically picking out strip lashes and applying them to best fit each teammate's eye, to applying semi-permanent cluster lashes for a small fee for "clients" (girls in her school). By her junior year of high school, her last year, she was a pro in all things strip and cluster lashes.

As graduation approached, Lauren was inspired to explore professional beauty enhancements. Fueled by her passion, she took her first-ever course in Waldorf, MD, and became an MD-certified lash technician. As LC beauty studio grew, the initial stages were highly humbling. Without a lash bed, she provided extension services on her couch and traveled to clients via bus for several hours. 

Lauren feels highly grateful for the journey she's on. It allowed her to open her first lash studio in Silver Spring, MD, and start a lash product line to encourage other lash artist's to improve their skills and stay inspired in the industry. At 20 years old, Lauren is now transitioning into expanding into the beauty industry as an educator and business owner while aspiring other young women and men to live in their power unapologetically.
